Iced drinks are served in tall glasses with bead-size ice pellets. Common to see a queue outside the shop during lunch/ dinner. The place feels a lot more warm inviting after the renovation"

"In the current economy, trying to get actual good value is increasingly rare, I am only too shocked to find what people are recommending. I truly appreciate Hog Kitchen for being able to provide such a consistently good pork noodle soup chain with such amazing value. The soup base is propely flavourful pork broth and not msg-fied, the noodles are good quality, none of the cheap acid boric or substandard yi mee stuff, good portion of genuinely fresh meat. There are meat balls, sliced pork, sliced pork belly and organs, all of which are incredibly fresh and cooked to order. For me, the highlight are these sauces and the crispy prawn chilli topping that is FREE FLOW, I can assure most people that these toppings are not cheap to make and are incredibly labour intensive. For all the times I have been to these chains, never once were they empty. The shop is always clean, sometimes a hint of some sort of cleaning chemical which I have no problems with as they really do keep the floors spotless. The service is tight. Order on a paper, chuck it in and no longer wait than 5-10 mins. It is a well oiled machine and fantastic for large groups. All this for sub RM15-20 per pax. I can tell that a lot of work and effort is put into preserving a great classic noodle dish at a reasonable price while not having be just one uncle serving in an open air kopitiam. If you have the chance, support this business earnestly, places like these will only become rarer."

"Trying out this restaurant as every time I pass by they are quite packed. Ordered dry pork noodle mix and braised chicken feet. The noodle are good. I choose mi xian which are quite bouncy and the dark sauce are just nice, not too savoury. The soup otherwise are ok. Flavourful with good amount of ingredients. I like to add the chilli flakes which give the noodle nice touch of crispy texture and some spice. Take a spoonful of noodle, chilli and pork lard to enjoy the flavour to the max! Braised chicken feet are good. Nicely braised and the spicy level are bearable. Good amount for that price. Overall food are good. Seafood option are available too if you don’t like pork. Will I repeat? Yes if I am around and try come early to avoid the queue."
